Webtoon

Hi everyone, finally I'm posting for such a long time.

It's already 2018!!! My previous post was on 2016, or 2017, wasn't it? Btw, today's topic is about webtoon. If anyone don't know what is webtoon, it is an online cartoon just like it's name (web) - referring to internet, and (toon) - referring to cartoon (animation). Since lately I've been into reading online manga, (it starts with Manga Rock), so I want to put here some suggestions on what webtoon to read and here we go.

1) Lookism (외모지상주의)

Literally, this webtoon is the most famous especially among readers around Asia Pacific. I start reading it after saw a post about it through the artist himself, who's actually one of the famous ulzzang = 얼짱 (means someone with good look) back then. Actually at first I read the English version of webtoon called Line Webtoon (I guess) but after knowing that the update is very late with almost 20 episodes, I chose to read from the original language which is in Korean. (Some might knew that I can read korean and understands it).

Back to Lookism, this webtoon is actually about Daniel Park (main lead), who's originally ugly, short and fat, and always been bullied at school. He's also from a poor family background where he only live with his old mother. But soon later after he changed school, something unexpected happened where he SUDDENLY turned into a handsome, tall and muscly guy!! BUT!!! Not he didn't 'changed' but he woke up with his old body lying besides him. MEANING THAT HE HAVE TWO FREAKIN' BODY!!!! (But one body only functioning when another body is sleeping). So, Daniel's new life starts in his new body, at a new school and with totally new experience.

2) True Beauty (여신강림)

The second one is True Beauty and yesss this one also involve looks. The story goes when Im Joo-kyung (female lead) goes through a different treatment from people around after she change with make-up. Btw, all the characters in this webtoon (both male and female) are very good looking for real, please read this!!!

3) So I Married An Anti Fan (그래서 나는 안티팬과 결혼했다)

Next is, So I Married An Anti Fan. This webtoon is about Lee Geun-young (female lead), a reporter who's an anti fan of a K-POP star, Hoo Joon, but later they was told to shoot a variety show called "So I Married An Anti Fan".

4) My Girlfriend is A Real Man (내 여자친구는 상남자)

The very latest one I'm currently reading is My Girlfriend is A Real Man, with the genre comedy and fantasy. This one is about the girlfriend, Kim Ji-eun, who suddenly turn into a guy(?) and how 'she' asked 'her' boyfriend, Park Yoon-jae for 'how to live as a man' tips.

5) Hannamdong K-House (한남동 케이하우스)

And the last but not least, from the same artist of Lookism, Hannamdong K-House. Tbh, the male lead character have quite the same facial as Daniel Park, but different character. This webtoon is about the male lead (Na Deok-soo) who came from island, living with his grandparents and a dog, moving to Seoul to be a fashion designer.

He does give a bit Daniel Park vibes doesn't he?

So, these are my current 5 webtoon that I've been into lately. Despite of reading trending one, I usually chose based on the drawing and plot story. If the prologue is boring and slow, I just end it and won't read the next part. Hee =)
